Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of over 100 active cannabinoids naturally occurring in cannabis and is primarily derived from hemp. It is non-psychoactive, meaning that users will not experience a ‘high’ or any side effects.

Why should I take CBD?

Primarily, CBD provides relief and relaxation, aids general wellbeing and supports a healthier lifestyle.

How can I take CBD?

CBD may be ingested, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. CBD comes in many forms, such as in oils, capsules, edibles, topicals, vapes, concentrates, suppositories and patches. Your needs will determine which delivery method will be most suitable.

Can I use multiple CBD products in combination?

Yes. Some people may only require one delivery method, whereas others may choose to combine multiple delivery methods. Stimulating your ECS in more than one way can heighten the effects of CBD. Ingestible CBD, such as CBD oil, supports your entire ECS, and if you have taken it at least an hour (approximate time required for its digestion) before using another CBD product such as a topical cream, the effectiveness of the cream may be further enhanced.

How much CBD should I take?

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) recommends that adults take no more than 70mg CBD per day unless a doctor agrees more. Our customers take from as little as 8mg to over 100mg per day, depending on what they are taking it for, but the average daily dose ranges from 30-60mg.

Two people taking CBD for the same reason will require different doses. Many factors influence how much you need to take, such as age, weight, diet and lifestyle.

What do the abbreviations mg and ml stand for?

When referring to how many milligrams (mg) there are per millilitre (ml):

ml = the volume of oil/bottle size, e.g 15ml, 30ml, 60ml

mg = the amount of CBD present in your bottle, e.g 500mg, 1000mg, 2000mg, 4000mg

Example: Our 15ml oil contains 500mg CBD, and a single serving is 1ml oil. Therefore there is a total of 33mg CBD per 1ml serving (33mg/ml).
